Southwest changing a few things
Southwest is clearly looking at their model.

Recently they have announced plans to alter their famous "A-B-C" boarding process. Sometime in the next 90 days I suspect you will see some changes. I've heard rumors of a "numbering" system (didn't they try that already?) and elimination of the boarding early for families with children.

I can't say where it will all come out in the wash, but a couple of weeks ago I took one of their flights from San Jose to Phoenix and they loaded those passengers between A and B.
